Because I think everyone needs a good, fat dose of this song every once in a while.
In the time of chimpanzees I was a monkey
Butane in my veins and I’m out to cut the junkie
With the plastic eyeballs, spray-paint the vegetables
Dog food stalls with the beefcake pantyhose
Kill the headlights and put it in neutral
Stock car flamin’ with a loser and the cruise control
Baby’s in reno with the vitamin d
Got a couple of couches, sleep on the love-seat
Someone came sayin’ I’m insane to complain
About a shotgun wedding and a stain on my shirt
Don’t believe everything that you breathe
You get a parking violation and a maggot on your sleeve
So shave your face with some mace in the dark
Savin’ all your food stamps and burnin’ down the trailer park
Yo. cut it.
Soy un perdedor
I’m a loser baby, so why don’t you kill me?
(double barrel buckshot)
Soy un perdedor
I’m a loser baby, so why don’t you kill me?
Forces of evil on a bozo nightmare
Ban all the music with a phony gas chamber
’cuz one’s got a weasel and the other’s got a flag
One’s on the pole, shove the other in a bag
With the rerun shows and the cocaine nose-job
The daytime crap of the folksinger slob
He hung himself with a guitar string
A slab of turkey-neck and it’s hangin’ from a pigeon wing
You can’t write if you can’t relate
Trade the cash for the beef for the body for the hate
And my time is a piece of wax fallin’ on a termite
who's chokin’ on the splinters
Soy un perdedor
I’m a loser baby, so why don’t you kill me?
(get crazy with the cheese whiz)
Soy un perdedor
I’m a loser baby, so why don’t you kill me?
(drive-by body-pierce)
(yo bring it on down)
Soooooyy....
?em llik uoy t'nod yhw os ,ybab resol a m'I rodedreP nu yos
[It's the Chorus backwards]
(I’m a driver, I’m a winner; things are gonna change I can feel it)
Soy un perdedor
I’m a loser baby, so why don’t you kill me?
(I can’t believe you)
Soy un perdedor
I’m a loser baby, so why don’t you kill me?
(Nlehh...)
Soy un perdedor
I’m a loser baby, so why don’t you kill me?
(Sprechen Die Deutsch hier, Baby!)
Soy un perdedor
I’m a loser baby, so why don’t you kill me?
(know what I’m sayin’? )

The AP Tour (WOW This Is Late)
First of all, all of the people were good, the music was all good. It was The Summer Set, The Cab, Every Avenue, Hey Monday, and Nevershoutnever. I went with my two aunts who are both in their twenties, and my best friend Alexis. Max was also there, but not with us. In fact, the only time I saw him was when I was passing him through the crowd...the kid's crazy, he was crowd surfing. :)
Anyhoo, Alexis and I started out back of the main floor. By Hey Monday we were in the middle of a huge mosh pit. No joke. I must have contracted 10 STDs that night because we were so squished into people. Other than the diseases, it was SWEET. We got so close to the stage, and I saw Chris Drew so closely. I almost cried. Really, I almost did.
Meanwhile (and I didn't know this until after the concert) my two aunts were chillin', drinkin', watchin' the Red Wings, buyin' David Strauchman a PBR. If you're not aware of who that is, it's freakin' the lead singin'...er, singer, of freakin' Every Avenue. MY GOD, MAN. Why wasn't I there? WHY. Anyway, being from Michigan, Every Avenue wanted to come back and do a smaller concert in July, which good buddy David invited the aunts to. They bought like 6 thirteen-dollar tickets or something crazy like that. I cannot wait.
Max met the drummer of All Time Low in the upper level of the Crofoot.
You wanna know who I met? I met an unidentified kid's shoe in the side of my head.
I hate crowd surfing -.- ...not really, I just didn't enjoy the 3rd degree concussion hemorrhage in my ear afterward.
Other than that fun stuff, the event was sponsored in part by Wonka. There's nothing better than walking out of an awesome concert with a whole bra full of Kazoozles. Yeahhhhh buddy :D

What is Love?
I haven't posted on here in a while, which sucks because this is my favourite blog that I have. It doesn't matter that it's nobody else's, it's mine. So put that in your juice box and suck it!
Alright, so I have recently written a song. It's called The Only One I Believe, and it's eh. I hope this summer we can write some music to it and spiff it up so we can maybe do it for battle of the bands.
Which reminds me; this summer we are getting a band together. We are thinking it's going to be Alexis on bass (electric and acoustic), Alyssa (sp?) on basses and guitar (I don't remember whether she can play regular guitar or just bass, I think both) and Stephanie on guitar, I'll be vocals and bagpipes, and uke if I'm ever cool enough to get one, and we kind of need to find a drummer a little bit. Weird, right? That's why we're going to ROCK.
Yes.
In other news, I recently got the new Nevershoutnever! CD and it is fantasticalz. It's called What is Love, and it must be the happiest music on the face of the earth. That is, in the sense that when you're listening to it, you feel like the happiest person on the face of the earth.
Christofer Drew Ingle went in a sort of different direction than his old stuff, which I've noticed has been quite unpopular with some fans. My personal opinion is that this new vibe with even more hippie taste is absolutely wonderful. The only thing I would maybe ever complain about is that there isn't enough of it. There are only eight songs unless you buy it on itunes, which I'll probably end up doing as well at a later date for the bonus songs. They are all pretty short, too, which sucks, but I guess that if the only complaint against an album is that there should be more of it, it's doing pretty darn well.
If you've got an extra ten spot, you should def pick this up. It's definitely the answer to the question: What is Love?
*side note* I am really hoping that he puts the songs that he did for the MTV live mini-concert on his next CD because they were also really good. I heard If You Go Leave The Key In The Mailbox one time, and I haven't been able to get it out of my head since.
So long for now, must be getting back to Economics. FUN :D...
no. :P

The Rocket Summer
The Rocket Summer includes member Bryce Avary. Yep, that's it. Just Bryce Avary.
Bryce Avary (Stephen Bryce Avary by birth) was born on the 31st of December in 1982. He released his first EP (which stands for Extended Play; it's a CD with like 3-5 songs on it. I tell you this because I just recently learned it myself) when he was 16 years old after having played local acoustic shows. This, of course, is a summary of some of The Rocket Summer's Wikipedia.
Fun Fact: I also discovered A Rocket To The Moon, which is really good, while I was looking for different Rocket Summer songs.
Songs to check out:
Do You Feel
Brat Pack
So Much Love
Save
That's So You
...soo many more.
Now, the song that inspired me to make a Rocket Summer post: Do You Feel
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xaAWuWH46E8
I'm thinking about other things I heard about today
All this week and tomorrow
And how these hands can create some better things for bettering
but you see for now I got my own things
I can't help it
I got too many issues I own
So I cannot help I'm afraid, yeah
But keep on preaching, preaching and heal the world
Lip service makes us look great
Do you feel
The weight of the world singing sorrow
Or to you is it just not real
Cause you got your own things
Yeah we all have our things I guess
I guess my mind wanders offfrom time to time
Sometimes I convince myself
that all is fine in the world
It's not mine
Why should Ihave to tryto fix things I didn't create or contrive
Do you feel
The weight of the world singing sorrow
Or to you is it just not real
Cause you got your own things
Yeah we all have so many things
Have the habits
Had you
Has it been for long
Can you feel the souls behind what's going on
Do you feel
The weight of the world singing sorrow
Or to you is it just not real
Cause you got your own things
Yeah we all have our things
Do you feel
The weight of the world singing sorrow
Or to you is it just not real
Cause you got your things
Yeah we all so many things
And I can get past these things
Ohhh
And not to mention...Bryce is uber good-looking. ;)

"I'm Expanding Your Horizons" (ft. Adieu by Enter Shikari)
Consider my horizons expanding. Tonight has been a musical miracle. I've discovered many great bands in the past hour or so, and it's all thanks to this one British friend I have. He has the best taste in music of anybody I've ever met.
He told me about Enter Shikari, We Are The Ocean,You Me At Six, Kill the Arcade, and Flood of Red, which lead me to discover The Follow Through. And from there, I've accumulated an arsenal of related bands to check out.
But what I'd like to feature in this article/post/whatever the hell you wish to call it is a song called "Adieu" by Enter Shikari.
This song has been crowned my favorite song. It's the kind of song that you can lay down and cry to. It's the song in the most poignant scene in the movie. It's the song that plays in the background of the perfect romantic fairytale kiss in the rain that you've always imagined. It's beautiful. There's only a couple different lyrics, but it's beautiful, and now holds a very special place in my heart. Always will. <3
Enter Shikari-Adieu
And I long for you to appear
After losing your way across star riddled skies
To carry you home
And I long for you to appear
After losing your way across star riddled skies
To carry you home
I cherish my loss
A gentle reminder, that life is unkind
At the best of times
And I long for you to appear
After losing your way across star riddled skies
To carry you homeI cherish my loss
A gentle reminder, that life is unkind
At the best of times
(Brace yourself, cause I think I'm falling for you. Look up into the sky)
Home could be anywhere, when I am holding you...

ALBUM WARS: EPISODE I: LUDO VS. FOB
Yes, I know I said that we would do the Nena song (which is still awesome) and James Blunt and blah blah blag, but I feel that spontaneous postage is much better than having to stick to a plan. This isn't to say that I won't give you a heads up on the next month still, it just means that there's quite a chance I won't follow it.
Alright, so today we have our first ALBUM WAR. Isn't it exciting?! I know you're practically peeing your pants. This episode's contestants are Ludo's You're Awful, I Love You vs. Fall Out Boy's Folie à Deux.
I had known about Ludo for a while, ever since track one ("Love Me Dead") started having radio play. But I bought it because when I saw it in Target, I thought of my friend who came into math one day and told me, "THIS IS THE BEST CD EVER!" That friend had to suddenly move to New York, and I didn't get to say goodbye, so I picked it up as sort of a reminder of him. Anyway, I've listened to that CD at least 10 times in the past 3 or 2 days that I've had it. It's definitely one of the best albums I've ever had. From it's entertaining story-tellers "Lake Pontchatrain" and "Go- Getter Greg," to it's more mellow and love-esque "Please," "Topeka," and "Streetlights", I never once got sick of any of it. Especially not during the surprising and startling "Horror of Our Love". But that's just me. Give it a listen and tell me what you think.
Note: Don't turn it off when you think the last track is over. ;)
Youre Awful, I Love You
Now, From Under the Cork Tree was a rockin' CD. And although I've never heard all of the songs on Infinity on High or Take This to Your Grave, the hits off of them were great. So, upon buying Folie à Deux, I was anticipating another great one. How could it not be good? The cover is sweet and, come on, a French title? I was won over. But Then I actually listened to the CD. I was slightly disappointed. I mean, "I Don't Care" is a good song, I knew that, but none of the others really sparked anything for me. I was pretty disinterested throughout the CD, with the exception of track six, "The (Shipped) Gold Standard". Seven ("[Coffee's for Closers]") was alright, too. I don't know, maybe I will like it more as I listen to it more. After all, I didn't like Paramore's "Decode" the first time I heard it either. Crazy! Here's Folie à Deux. See if you get all the yummy dissatisfaction out of it that I did.
Folie a Deux
In conclusion, I think it's safe to say who won this ALBUM WAR. Congratualtions, Ludo. You're doing good in this country. But don't take my word for it. You decide, then tell me about it. In the meantime, I'll be listening to the not-winner CD, trying to see if I will like it better, because everyone else's ratings on it are great. More on that later.
Thanks for reading and being a part of Random Insanity: Music Insanity! Until next year...I mean time.
